3 Brands nursing pad review

To catch the leak of breast milk, I’ve tried 3 nursing pad brands.

  1. Pigeon

  2. Saba

  3. Medela

I compare them from 5 aspects: size, thickness, softness, absorbent, and comfort. In my case, for the overall experience, the Pigeon one is most suited and comfortable.

The Pigeon nursing pad is very soft and the texture feels smooth, it is big enough to cover 3/4 of the breast and can absorb milk leaking for more than 6 hours for me. It feels good that I don't notice much of its existence.

Pigeon Nursing Pad

The Saba nursing pad is thick enough in a good way, it gives you a sense of security. You will feel protected by this nursing pad. Its size can cover half of my breasts, pretty good. The texture of it is also very soft and comfortable.

For me, I am not satisfied with the Medela ones. They are relatively small and only cover 1/3 of the breast area. This size makes you feel the edge of the pad rub against your skin, especially the folded corner of the pad.

In conclusion, I recommend the Pigeon nursing pad as the best option. If you can get Saba ones, it's also a very good choice.
